The Youth IGF of Ethiopia was established in 2018. It serves as a forum for discussion and exchange space that aims to expand the voices of young people interested in Internet governance.
Ethiopia national IGF was established in 2023 as an outcome of the country hosting the 17th IGF in 2022. Its main goal is to create an inclusive platform for all stakeholders of this respective community to discuss the issues related to Internet governance.

During the 20th annual IGF, interested stakeholders can display or distribute relevant information about their activities related to digital governance and digital innovation at the IGF Village. The IGF Village consists of physical and virtual display booths, located in the meeting's area and online in accordance with the hybrid nature of the meeting.

Stakeholders are invited to apply to organize different types of sessions at IGF 2026. Proposals should be coherent with the IGF 2026 overarching theme, "Governing the Internet in the Age of Intelligence: Our Shared Responsibility".
