Youth IGF Initiatives integrated into the national, subregional and regional IGF inititives (NRIs)

As part of the national Spanish IGF, this Youth IGF Initiative aims at creating a multistakeholder platform for youth to cooperate and engage in digital policy processes in the country and beyond.

Youth Internet Governance Forum (YIGF) Bangladesh is an initiative under the umbrella of Bangladesh Internet Governance Forum (BIGF). It is a multi-stakeholder, youth-led platform to engage youth in Internet governance-related processes.

The Kenya Youth IGF seeks to bring together young people around the country and foster their engagement in Internet governance. 

Since 2019, SEEDIG runs a multilayered programme for engagement of youth in its processes. This includes a dedicated school on Internet governance for youth hosted in conjunction with the annual meeting and guidance for effective participation in the annual meeting as well as in the intersessional work long-term.

The Azerbaijan Youth IGF initiative is established in 2019 with a main objective to provide an open platform to the youth community to discuss Internet Governance issues.

Since 2019, the multistakeholder organizing committee of the Belarus national IGF stated to facilitate a set of focused programme activities on youth engagement at the national IGF processes.

Ghana Youth IGF is an integrated Youth-led initiative of the national Ghana IGF. It aims at engaging young people in Internet governance discussions.

Since 2017 this youth-focused and youth-led track is organized in a bottom-up manner within the annual EuroDIG meeting. It includes an online preparatory phase.
