The Niger IGF was recognized in 2025. Its main objective is to facilitate discussion on Internet governance issues among different stakeholders from this community.
National IGF of Cambodia was established in 2025. Its core objective is to develop a multistakeholder process for their respective community to address matters pertaining to Internet governance.
The Mongolia IGF was founded in 2026. It aims to provide a collaborative space for the national multistakeholder community to discuss and cooperate on Internet governance issues.

The Chamber of Deputies of Uruguay and the United Nations Internet Governance Forum (IGF), as part of its Parliamentary Track programme, organized the fourth regional Parliamentary Summit on “Anticipating the Digital Future: Strengthening Parliamentary Governance and Democratic Innovation”, held on 24 March 2026 at the Chamber of Deputies in Montevideo, Uruguay, and online.
