High-level executive with over 30 years of business and government service experience. Born in 1968, graduated from Stankin Moscow State Technological University with a degree in Computer-Aided Design, with a Systems Engineer major.
He was a founder and CEO of a number of Russian IT companies specialized in computer graphics, advertising and sports marketing.
In 2005-2007 he served as the Director General of the “Sochi 2014” Bid Committee, and in 2007-2014 as the President of the “Sochi 2014” Olympic and Paralympic Organising Committees.
In 2015-2020 Mr. Chernyshenko worked as the Chief Executive Officer of Gazprom-Media Holding one of the largest Russian media corporations.
